The department of management at JD Birla Institute (JDBI) recently organised a two-day online management development programme to spread awareness about the changing global trends. The event aimed to facilitate interaction between the middle and top-level corporate members and the market experts. There were around 36 participants from various corporate houses and the resource persons included digital entrepreneurs and AI practitioners from several organisations. The event provided a glimpse into the prospects and challenges of AI-enabled business. The JDBI also spruced up campus during the pandemic. Its satellite campus—which houses the management department—has undergone a makeover. Principal Deepali Singhee said her team spent days planning the beautification mainly by recycling available materials at a minimal cost. The walls have been decorated with motivational quotes, a portion being dedicated to former students who have been achievers. There is also a new adda zone for the students. Vidya Mandir Society secretary-general Brig. V. N. Chaturvedi recently inaugurated the Learning Resource Centre with a new fiction section.
